Here in our own community, we feel we have a calling and a purpose to not only spread the Word of God, but to also strengthen those that follow Jesus.  Again, not only those that attend inside of our walls, but Christians throughout Minerva.
We are a community of believers who have a purpose of:
  • celebrating life in Christ (putting people in touch with God)
  • cultivating personal growth in Christ (building people up with God's Word and discipling believers according to His Word)
  • caring for one another in Christ (have a heart to help the hurting)
  • communicate Christ to the world (reach out and change lives)
  • create opportunities to serve Christ (involving as many people as possible in His work)

Jesus told us in His word to go out into all nations and make disciples.  We believe very strongly that our purpose is not just to sit in our building and tell people to come to us.
The Church is not the building or the walls that hold up the roof - the Church are the people of God (here in Minerva and around the world). Our purpose is to expand the Kingdom of God by growing His Church here on earth.
We support missionaries around the world in spreading the Word of God to as many people as possible.
